NOTE: On opening day at each location FEMA will begin set-up at 8:00am.

ELIGIBILITY:Residents of Grafton or Carroll County that were affected by Irene

HOURS:7 days a week 7 am - 11 pm

DOCUMENTS:Please have the following information available when you call:
A working phone number for follow up calls
Address of the damaged property
Social Security number
Brief description of the damages
Current mailing address
Insurance information (if you have insurance)

SERVICE DESCRIPTION:A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) is a readily accessible facility or mobile office where applicants may go for information about FEMA or other disaster assistance programs, or for questions related to your case.

You can register for assistance at a DRC or use an Online Individual Assistance Center or call FEMA's hotline.

Some of the services that a DRC may provide are:
*Guidance regarding disaster recovery
*Clarification f any written correspondence received
*Housing Assistance and Rental Resource information
*Answers to questions, resolution to problems and referrals to agencies that may provide further assistance
*Status of applications being processed by FEMA
*SBA (Small Business Administration) program information if there is a SBA Representative at the DRC site. SBA can, in some cases provide loans for homeowners with very low interest rates, when there has been a disaster.
